Six for Saturday or Sunday - Aussie Aussie Aussie!

Happy Australia Day!  This weekend's DIY round up, in honour of the occasion, is an Aussie inspired mix of DIY, craft and recipe ideas.  Have a fabulous and creative Australia Day and weekend, wherever in the world you may be! 

1. Crochet a koala. (Craft Passion)
2. Make a map puzzle of Australia with the kiddies. (Kid Spot)
3. Whip up a pavlova. Here is my pavlova recipe, and it is a-ok to cheat a little a buy your meringue if you are pressed for time or just don't feel like turning on the oven. :)  
4. Prefer something chocolate? How about a batch of classic lamingtons? (BHG)
5. Make a koala mask - no sewing required! (Prudent Baby)
6. Turn your beach memories into cute critters, like these seashell koalas. (Martha Stewart)
